COAST: A 104 Year Old American Flashlight and Knife Company
I had first seen this brand at Home Depot near the cash registers, and then on Amazon. I kinda thought, with a name like Coast, it’s probably another one of those Chinese flashlight manufacturers. I love and use many Chinese products, but some of those Chinese brands have the silliest names. Anyway, after buying my First “Coast” flashlight, I was very happy with it’s build and performance and was pretty eager to tell people I knew about it. As a matter of fact, me and my Dad are both flashlight junkies. I typically get him a flashlight every Christmas and I like to come up with something new, smaller and even more powerful to one up last years gift. You just can’t have enough flashlights as far as I’m concerned. So when I started digging into the company, I was surprised to see they’re an American company that’s over 100 years old. Wow! If you haven’t yet, check them out, they make great flashlights! I haven’t tried any of the knives yet, but it’s on my list!
